What can I possibly say about this cel? I'm astounded it even exists. There are always pan cels or oversized setups that contain elements that never make it to the screen because of the focus, view or otherwise.
In this case, during the GB Opening Sequence, this A1 END shot only pans up to Kintaro's chest before switching scenes. Naturally, I thought the setup for this shot also went only as far as Kintaro's chest, but not so.
Here, for the first time I believe anywhere we see a shot of Kintaro never seen in the OVA. Kintaro is indeed complete in the shot, his awesome hair, face and shades seen in their entirety in the complete setup.
This is a true piece of art history, and one I am honored to call my own.
